REPORT OF A CRIME

Key Words: Ileum, broad beans, peritonitis, blue disease or cyanosis

My wife Dimitra Kavvda- Pappa, a university economist and mother of two phycists sons, was very unlucky in her last adventure. She  passed away at age 55, on the 6th of June 2009 after eating 1 kgr of row broad beans (κουκιά) and being hospitalized at the public Hospital "Elpis, ΜΕΘ" diagnosed as suffering from Ileum a routine case,  needed a routine operation. The previous day she had eaten a big quantity of row broad beans (κουκιά) which may cause the Blue Disease or Cyanosis. She was kept in bed in the hospital  for about 10 days to recover by medication. On the tenth day, she had  a suddenly terrible pain and turned blue (blue disease or cyanosis,  standard symptom of anoxemia by cyanosis) Her attending Doctor decided to operate her immediately. After the operation the attending  Doctor reported to me enigmatically: as far the Ileum she was hospitalized for, she had recovered completely, but she had to betaken to the emergency room (ΜΕΘ) of the Hospital without then any explanation.  At my persistent request to bring to the hospital a papimi device for her to be treated to enhance her heart and other vital organs, there was constant refusal for the papimi device which was by then approved everywhere at the world as a medical device de, including Greece, without ever a single adverse report. The refusal was justified by saying it will disturb the pace makers ? (βηματοδότες) of other patients in the   section. At my question how many patients were in the section wearing pace makers, there was the incredible answer: NONE!  In the past she had treated successfully her asthma and had treated successfully her heart insufficiency to the point a  programmed heart surgery was found later redundant. On the morning of the last Friday it was decided by the well known Professor Giamarelou to be taken to the operating room again to be operated again and examined for peritonitis. She died at  the same day, in midnight. The hospital reported the death was due to polyorganic deficiency (πολυογανική ανεπάρκεια). Since then her husband wanted to sue the Hospital's ΜΕΘ for misdiagnosing his wife from really suffering from undiagnosed Cyanosis or Blue Disease or some kind of Peritonitis

. This did not happen for her husband was paralyzed in the mean time from a brain stroke he had in August 20th 2009 and since, he stays in bed. unable to walk staying at home with the rest of the family, peacefully and be loving.
Did Hospital Elpis (
ΜΕΘ)  succeeded with their non proper diagnosis and above  refusal  and other actions to do what they wanted with my wife ? actually killing her? at least her unexpected death.
