Wishing for Good Weather :

A Natural Experiment in Group Consciousness click here

Journal of Scientific Exploration, Vol. 11, No. 1, pp. 47-58

Roger. D. Nelson - Princeton Engineering Anomalies Research, School of Engineering/Applied Science, Princeton University, Princeton, NJ 08544

Many human activities are affected by the weather, and there is a long history of rituals and ceremonial efforts aimed at controlling it. In modern societies, such efforts are largely vestigial and amount to informal hoping or wishing for good weather for special occasions. Reunion and commencement activities at Princeton University, involving thousands of alumni, graduates, family and others, are held outdoors, and it is often remarked that they are almost always blessed with good weather. A comparison of the recorded rainfall in Princeton vs. nearby communities shows that there is significantly less rain, less often, in Princeton on those days with major outdoor activities. http://www.princeton.edu/~pear/pdfs/jse_papers/WGW%20i0892-3310-011-01-0047.pdf  click here

Evidence for Correlations Between Nuclear Decay Rates and Earth-Sun Distance clickhere   Jere H. Jenkins, Ephraim Fischbach,, John B. Buncher, John T. Gruenwald, Dennis E. Krause and Joshua J. Mattes

Unexplained periodic fluctuations in the decay rates of 32Si and 226Ra have been reported by groups at Brookhaven National Laboratory (32Si), and at the Physikalisch-Technische-Bundesandstalt in Germany (226Ra). We show from an analysis of the raw data in these experiments that the observed fluctuations are strongly correlated in time, not only with each other, but also with the distance between the Earth and the Sun. Some implications of these results are also discussed, including the suggestion that discrepancies in published half-life determinations for these and other nuclides may be attributable in part to differences in solar activity during the course of the various experiments, or to seasonal variations in fundamental constants.  http://www.rexresearch.com/alchemy6/radecaysun.pdf

Storm glass from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia   http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Storm_glass

A METHOD FOR OBJECTIVE OBSERVATION

OF ETHERIC INFLUENCES ON CRYSTAL FORMATION :

ADMIRAL

ROBERT FITZROY'S  STORM-GLASS click here

A cloudy liquid which has small stars, will often predict Thunderstorms.
Expect bright, good weather when the solution appears as a clean liquid.
Occasionally little stars may be viewed alone, if so, in the winter, on bright sunny days expect snow in one or two days.
Should large flakes show themselves in the solution, the forecast will be a thick air, overcast sky. Snow in winter months.
The solution produces flakes which rise and stay high, look for wind amongst the upper regions of air.
With a solution that seems cloudy or dim the weather will turn to rain if not already.
When strands have formed near the top of the liquid windy weather can be likely.
Finding small spots floating, then be prepared for fog or damp.
If crystals are at the bottom of the liquid, then heavy air or frost in winter.

ETHERIC FORMATIVE FORCES INFLUENCE MINERALS SHAPE

1. THE DESERT ROSE :

desert rose1.jpg (19946 bytes) RC1   desert rose2.jpg (27455 bytes) RC2   desert rose3.jpg (20333 bytes) RC3

The Desert Rose also known as the Sand Rose or the Rose de Sable in French is a curious display of gypsum crystals that grow from mineral rich ground water beneath the surface of desert sand.  RM1 is from the Sahara Desert of  southeastern Morocco while  RC1, 2, & 3 are from the Sonora Desert of Chihuahua, Mexico.

2. REGIONAL INFLUENCES ON IRON PYRITE ( FeS ) FORMATION :

The Pyrite Sun, or Pyrite Dollar, is a unique formation of Pyrite that occurs in southern Illinois and is becoming more rare as all of these mines have been closed.

Cubic pyrites from Spain

In all cases, mineral's chemical material is the same, ( gypsum or iron sulfide ) but WHAT is the factor that orders the specific GEOMETRIC formation in each and every case ?

According to Geology, the tendency of minerals to crystallize to a certain shape,  is due to a certain property, called "crystal habit". So, one may ask : What is this "crystal habit" ?

" Crystal Habit is the tendency of minerals to crystallize to a certain shape". says Geology.

But why minerals tend to crystallize to a certain shape, specific for each of them ?

Again, according to Geology :

The tendency of minerals to crystallize to a certain shape is due to the Crystal Habit of each mineral "

It is perfectly clear that a much more scientific explanation has to be found.......
