The Child Hood
Panos Pappas as a very little was a very difficult child to eat. His mother had to struggle to make him eat and to attract his attention. Telling him children’s stories would not work for his attention. The brother of his mother Antoniy and uncle of Pappas, had left all his high school and university books in the house.
Pappas’ mother motivated by the persistent questions of little Pappas at about age 3, such as what is above the sky and below the earth, she discovered reading cosmology sections to the boy from his uncle’s books about the solar system and the stars, that she would couch completely the attention of little Pappas. Then she discovered reading Physics books to him, that she would catch his attention even more to the point that little Pappas had no more interest for anything else, other than the Physics books.
Little Pappas left aside his toys and start looking at the Physics books and their pictures. Soon, he self learned to read before school at about age 4 for reading the books of Mechanics, Electricity and other Physics. (Greek is straightforward and easy to read, knowing the alphabet and a few diphthongs).
A “mechano set” to build mechanical toys was the best Christmas present for Pappas to get. Later an “electrical set” to build toy circuits, made him to start his first laboratory at about 4.5 years old, expanding it to everything it was available to him, spending all his time other than the time of sleeping and eating.
Panos Pappas by the age of 7, knew the functions of all the electrical appliances in his parents’ home, and he would repair all these electrical appliances in his toy laboratory, except the radio and the TV set which he could repair by the age of 13. He was self taught as his parents did not know and could not perform these tasks, as he was the only child, and as he grew up alone.
By the age of 13 he constructed his first tube radio and tube radio transmitter, understanding the principles concerning transmission lines, standing and travelling waves and transmission/receiving antennas. Realizing a too big input impendence or a too small input impendence for a system would not take up much power, he had to discover the right value between 0 and infinity impendence to maximize the output power. He then had to investigate and finally he had self proved the theorem of maximum power transmission, based on the equity of input/output impedances to maximize his transmission output.
In his neighbourhood, he was known as the “The Scientist - “O Epistimonas”.
At the age of 7, he said to himself, if you are mastering electricity, you have to prove it to yourself. His parents’ bed was a double all iron bed. He checked the wheels, which were porcelain wheels, and understood they produced an insulation between the iron bed and the ground. Behind the bed near the left hand side, there was a main’s socket of 220 volts of electricity.
One morning when his mother was out shopping, and he was alone, he took an insulated cable with bare ends. He took the covers and the mattress off the bed. He determined the live hole and the neutral hole of main’s socket on the wall behind the bed, with a testing screw driver. He placed the bare end of the insulated cable in the live hole. He left the cable on the ground making sure the other end was not touching anything. Then he locked the door leading to the main switch board of the house and he dropped the key on the bed.
Then, he got himself on the bare iron bed. With his hand, he grasped the insulated cable with the one end still connected to the main’s live hole and connected the second bare end to the iron bed which was insulated from the ground and on which he himself stood.
Then he took the test screw driver and tested the iron lamp next to the bed. The screw driver little bulb was lit. Then, he verified like this that the bed was indeed electrified. He just materialized consciously and absolutely safely the phenomenon of a “bird sitting on electrified high tension cable without being electrocuted”.
Smiling he said proudly, I feel nothing, I feel good and that proves to me I am right, He understood electricity with confidence, allowing him to realize the power of logic to predict life or death when all the circumstances were known.
Then his mother arrived home from shopping and, he immediately called her and warned her. You can not touch the bed, You can not touch the key, because you will be electrocuted to death! You can not catch me because both of us will be electrocuted to death. His mother had seen the electrical connection of the iron bed to the mains behind the bed, the key on the bed and the little boy standing on the bed.
She was astonished and believed him. She did not know what to do, what to suggest to him to get him out of the dangerous situation. The child Pappas felt doubly proud, it was the first time he completed and ultimately defeated his mother. Then he pulled safely the cable out of the live hole of the mains behind the bed, his mother was still shocked but also proud of the confidence and ingenuity of her child who tested his knowledge and confidence against his life, that no adult she knew would dare to do.
There after the Pappas child decided he should build on his knowledge with life depending confidence and logic, as he did at seven with the electrified bed test.
At the age of 17 and by the time he was graduating from high school to take the university entrance examinations, he had already mastered the university Physics. There after he did not particularly study Physics any more without a single failure in any Physics examination.
At the same time, he felt he should answer all the questions humanity would know or not know to answer. In case humanity did not know, he should search himself for the answer. In his country’s nation wide examinations for Physics, he was the one to get the country’s highest score for all current and previous years, a fact that characterized him a Physics genius.
At the same time, by the age of 17, young Pappas was mastering apart from Physics, Electromagnetism and professional Electronics at a very advanced level as no other professional. For all this knowledge, young Pappas was free to carry primarily University studies in professional Mathematics, which physicists and engineers study only partially as a tool for their profession.
So Pappas became Professor of Physics without practically studying it, and
Professor of Mathematics, actively teaching both subjects simultaneously at
tertiary university level, and in all instances without any preparation before
the class for many decades now as no body else known could do them both
As a result of Professor Pappas’ knowledge of Physics and Mathematics, has limited the validity of two of the most major laws of Physics that of Lorentz for the Electrodynamic Force with his world known “Z-Antenna Experiment” clickhere, here, andhere for the first time and also limited the validity of the law of Einstein for the mass energy relation with his discovery of the second role, the nuclear and good role of oxygen of nuclear transmutation with Na in animals and in humans, instead of the accepted chemical role of oxygen - known with the scientific term “oxidation”, which is nevertheless toxic, for which we take anti-oxidants clickhere. Oxidation is the last thing to expect for oxygen.
Oxygen should provide something else other than the toxic oxidation to
animal life. Pappas suggests the nuclear role of the oxygen as the beneficial
role of oxygen for animal life, unknown to present date biology.
